Hi, Dev
I'm Doris, a junior developer , and fun fact: before 2022, I knew absolutely nothing about programming.
Like… nothing. Zero. Not even “Hello World”.
I didn’t start this career because it was my lifelong dream or because I was coding at 12. I gave it a chance because I didn’t have many options at the time and somehow, that decision changed everything.
At first, it was confusing, frustrating, and sometimes made me question my life choices. But little by little, things started to make sense. I built small things, broke them, fixed them, broke them again… and somewhere in that chaos, I realized I actually enjoy this.
What defines me is curiosity.
I like learning in general.
For example, I really love gastronomy, learning recipes, techniques, understanding why things work.
And honestly, programming feels very similar: mix things, follow steps, fail a few times, and suddenly… it works.
Now I’m focused on frontend development, learning tools like React, Vue, Angular and exploring UX/UI, but my intention is to keep learning many things over time.
I don’t want to just “know how to code” — I want to be good at what I do.
And yes, I used ChatGPT to help with this post, but only after writing a long dramatic prompt about who I am. So… still my words.
