Just wow . Reading the book twice back to back then , watching the movie was really an experience . Tyranny , Individual freedom , totalitarianism , and utilitarianism . The book will change your everyday perspective , even after the first read . From the dumbing down of basic word's , to the " telescreen's watching you " , It's all here happening right now . The movie had a few minor flaw's as far a few minor details regarding Julia and Winston in a couple of chapter's but other than that , I give the book a 10/10 . For the movie , 8/10 .
