Baahubali: The Epic – TL;DR

Sivudu, an orphan raised in a remote tribal village, finds a mysterious warrior’s mask that sparks his curiosity. He scales a towering waterfall, discovers the tyrannical kingdom of Mahishmati, and teams up with rebel leader Avantika to free the imprisoned princess Devasena. In a dramatic showdown, the devoted guard Kattappa kneels before Sivudu and reveals his true identity: Mahendra Baahubali, heir to the throne.

The trailer then flashes back to the betrayal of his noble father, Amarendra Baahubali, who was murdered on false orders from the royal matriarch Sivagami—manipulated by jealous cousin Bhallaladeva. Now, Mahendra returns with Kattappa and the rebels to reclaim the crown. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli and remastered from the original two films with new surprises, Baahubali: The Epic hits theaters worldwide on October 31, 2025.
