The Carpenter’s Son Trailer TL;DR

A suspended-in-time Egyptian village becomes ground zero for a divine vs. demonic smackdown when Joseph (Nicolas Cage), his wife Mary (FKA twigs) and teenage son Jesus (Noah Jupe) settle there. All seems peaceful…until a mysterious new friend (Isla Johnston) worms her way into Jesus’s life and starts pulling him away from his devout dad’s rules. Strange, violent freakouts follow wherever the kid goes, and it isn’t long before you realize this “playmate” is really Satan in disguise.

Writer-director Lotfy Nathan (drawing on his Coptic Christian roots) turns ancient faith-and-fear lore into a twisty, visually rich supernatural ride. Think divine iconography clashing with straight-up horror—every frame wants to shake your beliefs.
