‘Coyote vs. Acme’ is finally pegged for a global release on August 28, 2026, after Warner Bros. shelved the hybrid animation adventure. At San Diego Comic-Con, Will Forte and moderator Paul Scheer revealed that the flick—rescued by Ketchup Entertainment—follows Wile E. Coyote’s hilarious courtroom crusade against Acme Corp. after enduring one too many explosive mishaps.
Forte couldn’t resist joking, “I’ve never heard of Warner Bros. not releasing a movie—this was really an Acme decision (for legal purposes),” setting the tone for a Looney Tunes romp that almost never saw the light of day.
