Alien: Covenant – Caravan Of Garbage
Alien: Covenant picks up after Prometheus, tossing out Elizabeth Shaw and replacing her with a fresh batch of hapless humans who quickly become Xenomorph chow. Instead of delivering the answers we wanted, Ridley Scott just plops us back into familiar Alien territory with Michael Fassbender’s rogue android David and the classic egg-to-face hug.
The Weekly Planet’s Caravan of Garbage review skewers the sequel/prequel for playing it safe, leaning on tired jump scares and a disposable cast, all while pretending it’s finally the Alien movie we deserve. In short: more style over substance, and it ain’t fooling anyone.
