We’re getting the low-down on 1996’s Barb Wire—Pamela Anderson’s over-the-top action flick adapted from Dark Horse’s Comics Greatest World. Set in a grim 2017 dystopia, Anderson’s bounty-hunting bar owner “The Wire” dukes it out with thugs, roars around on motorbikes, and narrowly survives one explosion after another.
Despite its cheesy staging (yes, there’s an infamously long “shower scene” hose-down), the Caravan Of Garbage review reminds us why this campy comic-book ride is impossible to hate. It might not win any Oscars, but it sure knows how to entertain.
