This take on the 1990 sequel to Predator embraces its gritty L.A. setting and swaps Schwarzenegger and the jungle for Danny Glover, a city in the grip of a heat-and-crime wave, and an even more ruthless alien hunter. It may not have the same jungle thrills or Arnie one-liners, but with Gary Busey on board and plenty of gore, it’s a fun ride if you’re up for something different.
