The Wolfman – Caravan of Garbage Review
Universal’s 2010 reboot of the 1941 classic roars to life with an all-star cast—Benicio del Toro as Larry Talbot, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving—plus late-arrival director Joe Johnston bringing some of that old-school monster mojo. It’s slick, atmospheric and does capture flashes of classic horror charm.
But here’s the catch: as much as Mason digs it, the film never fully howls. It looks great and feels nostalgic, yet falls a bit flat in the scares and storytelling, leaving you wanting a bit more bite.
