Amazon’s upcoming Mass Effect TV series is tapping into the same dream team behind Amazon’s smash-hit Fallout show, including Fast & Furious 9 scribe and EP Daniel Casey and veteran Amazon MGM exec Scott Farris. With the writer’s room greenlit for early 2025 and showrunner Doug Jung on board, Casey teases that they’ve got a solid pilot script and an incredible production crew ready to bring the galaxy to life.
While details are still under wraps—and Henry Cavill’s rumored involvement seems to have drifted—Amazon’s track record is strong. After Fallout’s blockbuster first season (now renewed for Season 2 with new cast members like Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin), fans have high hopes that Mass Effect will be the next big video-game adaptation success.
