As “The Late Show” winds down this May, Stephen Colbert is already teasing his next move—telling Netflix and Amazon “call me, I’m available in June” now that CBS has unceremoniously pulled the plug. He’ll be off for a few weeks on summer hiatus, but don’t count him out for a comeback elsewhere.
This all comes after President Trump visited the White House press room to lob fresh insults at late-night hosts—claiming Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel have “no talent” and suggesting they’re next for the chopping block, even though Colbert’s been outpacing his peers in the ratings.
