Rob Mac Alert! Rob McElhenney has officially kicked off the paperwork in L.A. to chop his name down to “Rob Mac,” moving beyond his full moniker (Robert McElhenney III) and embracing the nickname he’s already been using in business circles.
He says the McElhenney mouthful causes all kinds of confusion—especially in South America, where he and Ryan Reynolds co-own Wrexham A.F.C. He teased the idea in a May Variety interview, though his wife Kaitlin Olson admits the kids aren’t exactly thrilled about the sudden surname switcheroo.
