Jon Stewart couldn’t care less if “The Daily Show” gets the boot once Skydance wraps up its Paramount takeover. On his “The Weekly Show” podcast, the 62-year-old joked he’s “been kicked out of sh–tier establishments” and is confident he’ll “land on our feet” even if the long-running satire is ditched.

He does hope Skydance sees the show’s value—along with “South Park,” it’s one of Comedy Central’s few real traffic drivers—but warns they might just sell everything “for parts.” Stewart’s ire is really aimed at Paramount’s decision to settle a $16 million lawsuit with Trump (over a “60 Minutes” Kamala Harris segment) to grease the merger wheels, quipping that “Goodfellas” taught him shady deals aren’t exactly legal.
