Jon Stewart isn’t losing sleep over The Daily Show possibly getting the axe after Skydance’s bid for Paramount. On his Weekly Show podcast he quipped he’s “been kicked out of s–ttier establishments” and “we’ll land on our feet,” noting he hasn’t heard a word from either company. He also pointed out that aside from South Park, very few Comedy Central shows bring in eyeballs—so if Skydance views this as a pure “real estate transaction,” The Daily Show still has real value.

His comments come on the heels of his digs at Paramount for settling a $16 million lawsuit with Donald Trump to grease that merger, joking that instead of coughing up cash they might’ve actually fought back (a tip he claims to have picked up from watching Goodfellas).
