King of the Hill Boss on Hulu's No F-Bombs, Recasting, Animation Criticisms

‘King of the Hill’ is back for a 14th season on Hulu, picking up with Hank Hill returning to Arlen after a decade living and working in Saudi Arabia. Showrunner Saladin K. Patterson says the revival was born out of a 2017 table read by co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, and his biggest goal has been keeping the show’s trademark humor and authentic Texas-small-town vibe intact—even as he updates it for a Disney-owned streaming audience.
