Nielsen: Disney's ‘Bluey' Topped All Household TV Streaming in First Half of 2025 With 25 Billion Minutes

Disney+’s “Bluey” absolutely crushed the streaming charts in the first half of 2025, racking up a whopping 25 billion minutes watched across 154 episodes—enough to knock out every other title. Animation was a big winner overall, with six spots in the top 20 (think “Family Guy,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “SpongeBob SquarePants”), while legacy dramas “Grey’s Anatomy” (22 billion minutes) and “NCIS” (19 billion) claimed silver and bronze on the all-titles chart.

On the originals side, Netflix’s “Squid Game” was the surprise champ (15 billion minutes across just 22 eps), edging out Prime’s “Reacher,” HBO Max’s “White Lotus” and Netflix’s “The Night Agent.” Apple’s “Severance” snagged a strong No. 5 despite a smaller subscriber base, and Paramount+’s “1923” and “Landman” also made the top 10. Even 70-year-old “Gunsmoke” held on at No. 18, and family flicks like “Moana 2,” “Despicable Me 4,” “The Wild Robot” and “Sonic The Hedgehog 2” rounded out the mid-year winners.
