Nielsen: Disney's ‘Bluey' Topped All Household TV Streaming in First Half of 2025 With 25 Billion Minutes

Disney+’s pint-sized phenom Bluey crushed the competition in H1 2025, racking up a whopping 25 billion minutes watched across 154 episodes to claim the top spot in U.S. household TV streaming. Animation was no flash in the pan, either—half a dozen cartoons made the top 20 list, from Family Guy and SpongeBob SquarePants to Bob’s Burgers and South Park. Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS followed closely behind with 22 billion and 19 billion minutes, respectively.

On the originals front, Netflix’s Squid Game snagged #1 with 15 billion minutes over just 22 episodes, edging out Prime Video’s Reacher and The Night Agent. HBO Max’s The White Lotus and Apple TV+’s Severance also punched above their subscriber weight, while Paramount+ originals 1923 and Landman rounded out the top six. Classics and family flicks held their own, too—Gunsmoke streamed 10.6 billion minutes, and movies like Moana 2, Despicable Me 4, The Wild Robot and Sonic The Hedgehog 2 landed in the top 10.
